About us

Hi, my name is Alberto, born in 1985. I was born and raised in Salento, right among the rocks of Roca Vecchia in the Marine di Melendugno. Since I was a baby, my parents and grandparents on a small boat passed on to me a deep love for this land, its traditions, its cuisine, and above all, the sea.
At 5 years old I was already snorkeling on my own, and at 9 I did my first scuba dive with ARA equipment. I loved going out to sea to fish with my grandfather or my father, leaving from the small sandy coves near home, in Roca li Posti.
Growing up, I realized how these elements shape a person’s culture, spirit, and identity. My studies and my work have always revolved around the sea, tourism, the territory, and entertainment.
That’s why, back in 2015, I decided to invest in myself and in my homeland, starting this adventure dedicated to the territory and to the hundreds of guests who contact me every year, eager to discover Salento from the sea… from the VISTA TERRA perspective!

The boat

The boat used for coastal excursions, accommodating up to 7 guests, is a Brava 22 (6.50 m) by Cantieri Mingolla, a well known shipyard from Salento. It is an open style vessel with a central console and powered by a latest generation 4 stroke outboard engine.
Within its category, this boat is one of the most comfortable and spacious, chosen specifically because it is ideal for this type of activity. It features comfortable seating both at the bow and stern, a bow sundeck with cushions large enough to host all 7 guests while at anchor, and an additional two person seat at the bow in front of the console—very comfortable and with a panoramic view.
At the stern, there is another seat for 3–4 people and an additional seat next to the skipper.
The hull and deck design of the Brava 22 offer the perfect balance between comfort, onboard space, and seaworthiness. Thanks to its layout and the skipper’s planning, it is perfectly suited for 7 guests, especially in mixed groups (for shared excursions). For example: – 3 couples – 1 family of 4 plus 1 couple – 3 couples plus one solo traveler …and similar combinations.
Whenever possible, we ensure comfort, fun, privacy, and safety for all our guests including four legged friends.
At the stern, there is also a very convenient swim access, essential during swimming stops, equipped with a telescopic ladder. The Brava 22 is fitted with a sunshade canopy, freshwater shower, enhanced safety equipment, and electronic navigation and communication instruments.
